Fujitsu U2010 launches in Korea with GPS
After all the confusion about whether or not the Fujitsu LifeBook U2010 has GPS, it's incredibly refreshing to see a press release from Fujitsu Korea that confirms the Atom-based UMPC's "built-in GPS receiver and applied SiRF3 chipset."
Since the U2010 in Hong Kong and Singapore, as well as the LOOX U/B50N in Japan, are not sold with integrated GPS, the Korean U2010 is the first version of the 5.6" mini convertible with GPS on board (Citus software). It is also the first model to be available in only a 120GB HDD and 64GB SSD configuration. The U/B50N, by contrast, has 60GB/100GB/120GB HDD and 64GB SSD options, while the U2010 in Singapore comes in 60GB HDD and 64GB SSD flavors.
The 120GB version of the LifeBook U2010 has a suggested price of 1,490,000 KRW (~$1300), while the 64GB model is expected to sell for 2,590,000 KRW (~$2255).
