Viliv's UMPC revolution looks familiar

Okay, who on earth is Viliv and how did they get ahold of some modified HTC Shift and Samsung Q1 Ultra blueprints?

The devices aren't identical (the one on the right is actually Menlow-based), but the similarities are pretty uncanny.

I couldn't find any specs for the Shift-alike, but there are OK and back buttons, a fingerprint scanner, and a speaker on the right side of the display and a control pad, what could be a camera, and another speaker on the left side. The keyboard, though not pretty, looks quite usable.

Here are the specs for the Q1 Ultra look-alike:

CPU:
1.86GHz Intel Silverthorne (Poulsbo chipset)
RAM: 512MB, 1GB DDR2 SDRAM (533MHz)
OS: Windows Vista, Embedded XP, Linux
Storage: 30GB, 60GB HDD
Display: 4.8” touchscreen (1024 x 600) with V2 (vivid video)
technology for a "feeling of HD-quality display"
Wireless: 802.11b/g wi-fi, Bluetooth 2.0, GPS (SiRF Star 3),
optional WAN (HSDPA/WiBro/WiMAX)
Camera: Front (videoconferencing) and back (photos)
Battery:
Removable, up to 7 hours video playback
Weight: 1.2 pounds

Viliv is well aware of its obvious design inspiration too, as the Q1 Ultra's 4.5-hour battery life is listed in that UMPC chart hanging above the unit.

Viliv - Visual Live offer Unlimited Excitement.
They are known for their PMPs. They don't have any news on their website about either UMPC yet though!

Given a 4.8" screen does that mean that it might be jacket pocket size?
