Tronic readying PMG-03 UMPC
Singapore-based Tronic looks ready to move into the slider-style UMPC market with this upcoming PMG-03 unit discovered by jkkmobile.
Tronic's PMG (that's Portable Multimedia Gadget, by the way) series has been around since at least 2005 and currently includes a 7-inch rugged UMPC (or RUMPC), which we've seen before as the TufTab v7112XT, two 8.4-inch tablets, and a 12-incher appropriately called the PMG 12".
The new PMG-03 will not only be the company's smallest handheld unit (5-inch display), but also its first to be equipped with a hardware keyboard. The device will reportedly run on an ultra low voltage VIA processor (VX800 chipset) and be capable of supporting Vista. Other details, including pricing and availability, are unknown.

When will the PMG-03 UMPC be avilable
and at what cost ?
