Kohjinsha K600 handtop has Intel inside

Kohjinsha Korea is currently celebrating the grand opening of a specialty shop in Yongsan, South Korea, which is akin to something like a Sony Style retail store in the U.S. (though on a much smaller scale). The celebration began yesterday and whether coincidentally or not, AVING revealed the company's brand new K600 handtops today.

Nowhere to be found on the Korean or Japanese Kohjinsha sites at the moment, the uncharacteristically named K600 is a significant upgrade to the original SA1F00A not only because its hardware has been modified but also because it has a 7-inch 1024 x 600 touchscreen display, integrated T-DMB and GPS, and Intel A100 processor. Quite the departure from the pre-touchscreen, AMD-based models released earlier this year.

Priced at about $860 (800,000 KRW), the black and white units come preloaded with the "Saydic" Korean/English dictionary program and are equipped with 80-key Korean keyboards.
